Billionaire Jhunjhunwala 'Bullish' on India Stocks, Plans Budget Carrier

Jul.28 — Billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, who’s known locally as India’s Warren Buffett, discusses the outlook for the country’s stock market, and his plan to start a low-cost airline. Jhunjhunwala said last month that Indian stocks’ annual equity returns will increase by about five percentage points, in addition to the economic growth of between 7%-10% in the coming years. He spoke at the “India Focus” segment on “Bloomberg Markets Asia.”

    The good thing about Ambani's is that they know they struggle at public speaking so hire professionals but some Indians think they are amazing and then do these cringe interviews.

    India did not spend money on poor but focused on aggression, though it should pay more on its poor people. Look, this is what it did to its neighbor countries.

    —Annexed Kalapani from Nepal in 1962;
    —Annexed Turtuk from Pakistan in 1971;
    —Separated Eastern Pakistan from Pakistan to become Bangladesh in 1971;
    —Annexed Tin Bigha from Bangladesh in 1972;
    —Annexed Sikkim to become one of its states in 1975;
    —Tried to invade Mauritius but failed in 1983;
    —Committed massacres of Sikhism, captured their territories and attacked
    Harmandir Sahib so Sikhism believers assassinated Indian Prime Minister
    Indira Gandhi in 1984;
    —Invaded Sri Lanka in 1987;
    —1st time invaded Bhutan and failed in 1990 due to international pressure, but
    has controlled its defense and diplomatic affairs till now;
    —Supported and financed the terrorist organization Tamil LTTE to rebel against
    Sri Lanka government but gave it up later under great international pressure.
    The betray triggered huge anger of LTTE so it assassinated its Prime Minister
    Rajiv Gandhi in 1991;
    —Annexed Dooars from Bhutan in 2006;
    —Annexed Moreh from Myanmar in 2013;
    —2nd time invaded Bhutan but failed in 2017 due to international pressure;
    —Tried to invade Maldives in 2018;
    —Invaded Nepal and one of its soldiers was shot dead by
    Nepal Security force in Jun of 2020;
    —Keeps nibbling lands from ChinaTibett and Kashmir that led to a war in 1962 and
    border conflicts with China till today;
    —Keeps nibbling lands from Pakistan Kashmir that led to daily border
    wars and gun fights;
    —And more…..

    He literally twice said 30 million dollars and ultra low cost airlines. Was it not understandable? I am genuinely curious. Is it because of accent or the way he speaks?

    All airlines in India are on brink of bankruptcy , airlines have now become affordable as train , people are now out of covid so they want to explore , social media has created mindset of open world so that s why people want to visit the place they see in their mobile , work from home and increasing choices of work from anywhere is allowing people to work while traveling , starting a fresh airline now with strong will to burn money initially to kill competition is opportunity , I will invest in it

    Well we all can see India has shed it's socialists mindset , we are experiencing some protectionists but the capitalist mindset is finally here , and I think this particular thing will drive India , also the competition with China will force India to do the research job as we all can see on space and cyber security sector or defence manufacturing so I think we finally have shed socialists mindset , just look the number of people who believe Congress plan of giving money to poor is bullshit , the new generation wants job and I think with little USA push India will achieve what it wants

    China will sell weapons to Pakistan and then steal water from India in Tibet. It's the environment . Top down propaganda " growth growth growth vaccine vaccine vaccine " it insults my intelligence, we need to harden our food stores and agriculture sectors from a rapidly changing environment, not " growth " its not arranging deck chairs on the titanic, it's denying your on a boat at all and planning a real estate venture.
